Time To Tackle That Garage!

Hey! Do you remember that big room connected to your house? The dusty one with a car or two in it? The one that your husband hides in when your mom is visiting?  Yea, the garage, that one! Well, if yours looks anything like mine it might be just the right time to get that place under control (or make someone else do it while you have a glass of wine and dictate like a medieval queen). Winters on its way which means its time to pack up all that fun summer stuff. As per usual morestorage.com is here to help…

So, first things first, Let’s start with the big stuff. If you have children or pipe dreams of a fit lifestyle chances are you have a few bikes (only one of which gets used every other year) strewn about your garage so let’s free up some space. Hop over those empty boxes you’ve been saving for no reason, dodge a spider or two and wrangle up those bikes. Depending on how many bicycles you have and the size of your garage storage might be an issue, but don’t fret we have some products to help.

Ceiling Mounted Bike Lift

Our Ceiling Bike Lift is ceiling mounted and runs on a pulley system. Holds 1 bike by hooks attached at the seat and handlebars. Run the cord to the side and attach to wall-mounted cleat. Raise and lower by releasing the cord.

Bicycle Hanger

It doesn’t look like it would hold but our little Bicycle Hanger is like Mighty Mouse on the job. Install it to stud and your bike will be neatly held upright on the wall. Made of steel and vinyl-coated to protect your rim.

Quad Bike Floor Stand

The Quad Gravity Bike Stand holds 4 bikes in the most compact way possible. This rack is completely free standing and is easy to assemble without tools. It has adjustable arms for an easy fit to all bikes. Strong tubular steel construction and durable epoxy finish.

So you got those pesky bikes out of the way but during that project you found yourself tripping over rakes and almost being impaled by a shovel? MoreStorage’s wire grids are the perfect way to organize Larger items like Rakes, Shovels, sledgehammers, leaf blowers and even heavy duty extension cords. Our wire grids come fully assembled and are made of strong steel with an epoxy coating

2×4 Wire Grid

The garage can be straightened up in no time using a Wire Grid. Heavy-duty, epoxy-coated steel grid holds all of our activity accessories for the garage. Comes assembled. Mounting hardware included.

Alright, so far so good, right? You freed up some space by storing your bikes. You have your large tools hanging from your new wire rack instead of stuffed in every corner humanly possible, you’re doing great! So whats next? Since the temps are dropping and the bikes are coming in so are all the sporting good your kids play with for 8 minutes then abandon on the front lawn for the warm embrace of a video game. Balls, bats, gloves, and cleats or even golf equipment more often than not find themselves abandoned in the garage during the winter months. So, just like anything else, we need a place for them!

Sports Rack & Basket

Large basket stores a wide assortment of balls with easy front access. Mount fairly low so that kids of all ages can access. They’ll shoot their balls in the top when it’s time to put away. Side mount shoe racks can hold three pairs of adult or children’s athletic shoes, gloves or hats. Side slot conveniently stores up to four bats.

Golf Rack

Hold all your golf equipment in one place. Stores two bags of any size and two pairs of adult or children’s golf shoes. The integrated basket holds dozens of balls, hats, gloves, and other golf items. Coated spare club rack stores extra clubs.

Ok ok, time for the fun part. Brush the dust off your clothes, pat yourself on the back and put your hands on your hips then look around in a victorious fashion! You can see your cars again! You’ve conquered that messy garage of yours! Now its time to relax and enjoy yourself (A.K.A. constantly monitoring your family to ensure they don’t mess up the area you just spent your valuable time organizing). We here at MoreStorage wish you luck!
